The Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) makeover is slick, but not enough to earn a position in your portfolio.
Have you been to Best Buy lately? It’s worth the trip. The stores are clean, polished and organized. Clerks are more available and better-informed. Checkout hardware has improved. In short, it’s a dream place to shop for everything electronics, tech, and home.
But it’s not enough to make many investors own BBY stock—it’s just window dressing on a nice recovery story that won’t end in disaster, but won’t make you much money either.
